    What do you all say if there is a physics forum set up here? Won't it be fabulous? What do you say?
    I really want to do well in maths. Please help and tolerate my stupidness.

    It's going to be very difficult. You can't create a forum out of nothing, only convert one type of forum into another.

    Well, how about we smatter dclamp with calcium ions... that will accomplish something... what I don't know, but it will be fun to test on dclamp.

    Finally - we have found a use for the ASP.NET forum.
    PHP || MySql || Apache || Get Firefox || OpenOffice.org || Click || Slap ILMV || 1337 c0d || GotoMyPc For FREE! Part 1, Part 2

    | PHP Session --> Database Handler * Custom Error Handler * Installing PHP * HTML Form Handler * PHP 5 OOP * Using XML * Ajax * Xslt | VB6 Winsock - HTTP POST / GET * Winsock - HTTP File Upload

    Latest quote: crptcblade - VB6 executables can't be decompiled, only disassembled. And the disassembled code is even less useful than I am.

    Seriously, this is probably the right idea. We have the Maths forum and the Games and Graphics forum. I think physics-related questions could conceivably go in either of those, depending on their nature.

    (Standard response: unless we start to see a large number of threads on a particular topic over a reasonable amount of time, we won't create a forum for it.)

    It would probably be best suited in the Games and Graphics forum for the simple reason Physics is sort of AI which is related to games. But then again maths is :P

    But my vote is to have it in the Games and Graphics forum, that is if there is going to be one.

    i agree with ts. We already have a general math section, where it can be anything from adding and subtracting. to physics

    No it isn't. The two are very different beasts.

    Re: Physics forum???

    Regarding the Maths Forum though, there are a few options going forward:

    1) Rename it to "Homework Forum"
    2) Rename it to "Maths Programming Forum"
    3) Rename it to "Maths / Science Forum"
    4) Leave it in its current state, populated mainly by people looking for others to do their homework for them with the occasional interesting problem
