    Resolved [RESOLVED] Start work on C++

    Guys, I start work on a new place after completing my degree. You know, that time I'm more familiar with Java and C#. But now the PM ask to start work with C++. I need some advice from you.

    1.) What is the best IDE?

    2.) What is the best place to find material (URLs)?

    I don't think that it is really hard work to me, since I work on Java and C#. Anyway, give your feedback....

    Re: Start work on C++

    Good luck with the new placement

    And well as for IDE i personally love the Microsoft one but Dev-CPP would be next. As for some tutorials and references here is a pretty good list

    C++ Reference
    MSDN Reference (C++)
    C++ Library Reference
    C++ Tutorial
    C Programming tutorial

    As for Win32 programming there are plenty of good sites you can find if you need some don't be afraid to ask

    The Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0 IDE is the one i always use. Otherwise it is Code::Blocks or Dev-CPP.
