    Resolved Did I answer correctly?

    I didn't really listen in math class but......

    2* (i/8 + 4*(i-3)) / (j-2), if i = 8, j = 5

    my answer: 14

    If wrong how do u work it out?

    Good, you are correct. The answer is 14.

    ....but you get the correct answer. So what you miss up there. Precedence of math operations. It's not difficult. * / + - is the best way or, * / - + you can use.
