    Resolved [RESOLVED] authetication key testing

Hey guys, I'm not sure how this usually works but I wrote a little algorithm for a key protection on software and wanted to get it tested to see how strong it is.

I know anything can be cracked so I'm not looking for people to bash it if it is really easy to crack, constructive feedback only please

You can download it at http://www.infinatron.com/AuthKeyTest.rar

It is a rar file so you will have to have winrar to unzip it. You dont have to worry about viruses I use symantec 10.2 corporate edition on my computer so it's pretty well protected.

The only clue I'll give out is that it's 25 characters in length and I only tell you this cause you canfind out yourself since I set it to the maximum length on the input textbox.

If you are able to crack the key please respond with what your key was that worked, how long it took you, and how you did it.

    Thanks!

PS.. I hope this forum was ok for posting this and gets enough views to be tested properly.

This is the most logical forum I saw, unless I missed one. It's concerning application deployment when your dealing with registration keys. I looked for an encryption / security forum but didn't see one of those.. sorry if I missed it

You are asking someone to test your application not asking for deployment advice. There is a Testers and Testing forum...

I see what you mean, I considered it more a application deployment issue than just straight testing. I'll mark it resolved here and duplicate it there, just doubt I'll get many views or much help with it there since that forum isn't used very much apparently, Thanks!
