Usally you have to break in. I have a brother in law that used to work for NASA and he tells me that more than 80 % of the attempts are never reported and if the hacker did not commit much of a malious act. They would probably hire that person.

Yeah!
Hack in destroy there computer systems and/or get confidential information!
The they'll have to hire you because:
1) Your the only one who knows how hack the fbi. So to make it stronger they'll need your superior knowledge!
2) They'll want to keep it quiet so your demands will be met.
3) They'll want the information back so they'll hire you!
OR
They'll just send you to jail!
Good Luck!

Dimava, I think jjortiz means you might have to hack into the FBI to get the job. It's like a first interview

If you show some finesse and skill, they woould probably notice you as a possible asset, but if it seems like you some how just stumbled on to how to get in, that's when you'd get the slammer. It would also probably help to put up a good chase...

I doubt that they would:
pay this person and give them access to their computers when they tried to take it down in the past...

I think the person to ask about this would be the person with first hand experience:

Hacking was a very promissing career. Just that the government made examples of some. Not to mention that if they do decide to give you the slammer this is federal. You might as well get caught with drugs you get less time.
