[RESOLVED] Tool Tip Window

I would be happy if The Tool Tip Window (Not sure exactly what it is called) is Brought back as an option in the 'Edit Options' in User CP.

If you not sure what i mean by Tool Tip window, pls check the attached picture.

i can remember Once Panagate sad, this option was there and later disabled.

Also like to know, what is the Disadvantages of using this Tool Tip Window.

It was turned off because most of us hated it - it's quite annoying feature.

Some like it, some don't, but unfortunately there's no way of making it a user-selectable option.

It's a site-wide setting. The forum software doesn't provide for it to be a user preference.

All it does is pull the first n characters from the lead post in a thread and display them in a tooltip which tends to get in the way when you are mousing over the page.

As RhinoBull said - the majority opinion was that it needed to be turned off. While majorities don't always win, in this case we will stick with that decision.
