    Odbc?

    I've been reading about databases for a few days and lots of people are saying different things... So, can I connect my NET CF device (windows mobile 5) to an ODBC data source or not? At the moment I'm thinking not... But I'm hoping that I'm wrong!

    no ODBC support - what database are you hoping to read on the server?

    Hi,
    unless they have a provider, then a web service, or your own server seems the only way. We provide SqlLinkCE which reads from an ODBC source to the PPC via middleware, on our web site, but how successful it would be I don't know as we haven't tested it on all combinations.

    We do provide a 30 day trial though, complete with a test program
