Hit Return on a text box in Netscape

I am working on an ASP. Is there a way to detect the Return Key Hit event on a text box when the page is being displayed on a Netscape browser?
For example, when siging onto hotmail using IE, user can hit Return right after they enter their user password without setting the focus to the "sign in" button. The same thing cannot be done in Netscape...
