My initial thoughts would be no as it would prevent the need for people to purchase Word if developers wrapped the viewer in a program and sold it themselves.

What a bummer.
I have embedded explorer in a control but that approach to opening office docs is a bit flakey.
Its a shame that office viewer control isn't still available.
I hate messing aroung with office gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
