[2005] Binding Nav/Tool Strip Color
Has this ever happened to anyone, for the life of me I cannot figure out why it does this. I have my binding navigator/ tool strip when it is in design view (vb 2005) it appears blue (set to background color "Control") when I debug my program it appears gray. It is not in the settings of my computer because when I create a new project and add a tool strip to a form, then I debug it runs with the blue background the same as in design view. Why would it be different in design and debugging just for my one project.
I only ask since I would rather have the blue contrast it allows it to stick out more, but I do not want to set the background color for fear of others users computer settings who will use this program and could potentially lead to problems.
Any thoughts? I am assumming I set some property somehow with out even noticing, but I compared every value to the new project they appear the same. Thanks.

The color "Control" is a gray color. If that is what you are setting your BindingNavigator's BackColor property as, then it is going to be gray. It looks blue in your IDE?

yeah I understand it is supposed to be gray. I does appear blue in my IDE. The same as my scroll bars. And like I said if I create a new form the background color is set to control... yet in IDE and while debugging it is blue.

It should match the colour of the user's Windows theme. The default theme is blue.
Having said that, it should still match when in the IDE, so I am not sure why it would be different.

Re: [2005] Binding Nav/Tool Strip Color
yeah I agree, and my settings are set to default theme blue in windows XP, that is why it appears blue if I create a new project and run it. It is just so bizarre that for my current project that it is blue when I design then debugging it changes it to gray. No big deal just would be nice if it would stay as it appears in design, thanks for the input, if this has ever happened to anyone else let me know and if you were able to fix it.
