Re: web client services problem
What happens when you try to map? Do you get an error?
Have you reported this to your inhouse network admins?

You cannot see the share or you cannot map a network drive?

need more info.
1. are you on a domain?
2. when you say "web share" do you mean the server which will probably have windows 2003 and iis has a folder that the admin right clicked on the folder->selected properties->"web share" tab the created a share so that s/he could add it to a virtual server on IIS? However, the admin did not create a traditional share under the "Share" under right click the folder and select share tab in w2k3.
If my guess is correct, he will have to create a traditional share as well, or you will have to install Front Extentions on IIS and connect through it. Just having a "web share" won't give you rights to map it as a network drive. You will also have to have the correct domain or local creditals to have access to the share.

I explained above what you need to do. You cannot map to a web share. make it a normal share as well. Your perception of what is going is wrong. It doesn't matter if you have full rights to the server, if it shared incorrectly you won't be able to connect to it.
all you have to is right click the folder and share it then set the ntfs rights.

Re: web client services problem
ok the shared folder from server i was connecting to is fine because i could mapped to it in another workstation.
my pc has problem i dont kno if its a virus.
because when i click the entire network then click the windows network i could see the domains and all the workstations.i could still do that on another pc.
but in my own pc i could only see the domain i was logged into but when i click the domain i dont see any workstations on it. just blank page.
