[2005] Shockwave Flash Object Help
when i try to add a shockwave flash object it says: Failed to import the active-x control. Please ensure it is properly registered.
I re-installed flash and I have the same problem...
Please help

Did you add the reference to shockwaveflash via the COM tab of the references dialog?

What OS are you running on? Vista? Do you have SP-1 installed for VS?

I am running on windows xp and i dont know if i have SP-1 installed for VS.
I don't think i have.... can you send me a link to where to find that please?

I assumed you installed it too?
Try creating a new blank project and start with just adding the COM control to your form and see if it still errors. Maybe it could be just that project.
