Ok. With Aol Instant Messenger (not all of aol, just the separate messenger), it automatically loads with the registry one-time-per-user. When it loads, it also loads my connection program, so I can only go online once time without shuting down and restarting. Is there any way to either stop aim from loading at startup, or stop it from loading my internet connection?
retired member. Thanks for everything

I don't have it, but if it's like Yahoo Messenger then you should be able to turn off the option to load at startup.

goto MY AIM>Edit Options>Edit Prefrences
then goto the General Tab and uncheck
Start AIM When Windows Starts
