heh i meant Windows updates. Microsoft.com requires IE. Although i suppose i could get around this requirement by turning automatic updates on.
Firefox actually updated itself recently without telling me until it was done.
I will probably still keep IE though - I have it set up for Flash movies and i refuse to install the flash player on Firefox.

Just goto Software Patch dot com and download and install them manually.
Only some security updates are really worth it. I never use Automatic Updates nor ever visit Microsoft's site .. no need to.
And yes, its 100% legal (for you guys in the US) not to use their site direct.

Then you suck. Firefox keeps bugging me about updates.. .always when I'm at home, too, and afraid to actually update... my wireless router is a piece of ****. I really need to get it replaced.
