    tried reinstalling

    Which are you using? 2005 or 2005 Express? And whats the OS?

    Is IIS running and registered correctly if its the non-express version?

    XP , VS2005 , IIS 5.1 (obvious)
    tried reinstalling everything expect the OS
    IIS works
    VS 2005 .....Framework SDK 3.0

    Go to the Visual Studio Command Prompt and run aspnet_regiis -i

    Must be frustrating for you.

    If this doesn't work and you don't get any ideas, I think you should contact Microsoft support.

    If they are able to help you, do post back here and tell us what the problem was. It'll probably be something so small and blindingly obvious that you'll have to wear sunglasses and call yourself Ray Charles.

    Must be frustrating for you.!! I am at top of it

    I can make web application which is 99% same as website

    I have no clue ----- I am going to contact Microsoft support now
