does anyone know of any FTP controls other than
wininet.dll or Internet Transfer Control?

I want to ftp but without using Internet Explorer components.

You may not have noticed but if you ftp using
wininet.dll any downloaded files appear in the "temporary internet files" folder.

Very messy!
