    Can anyone help me with cgi/perl? Would like to have some hints on how to start with these scripts. Please help

    Try out http://www.itlibrary.com first.

    They have lots of FREE online books that you can read to get yourself started. You know those huge "Perl in 21 days" books at the bookstore? This site has them for free to read online.

    Hope this helps a little.
