    Without sounding harsh, it could be because an experienced developer knowing two languages would expect a higher salary then your company is offering. A quick search on other positions in the same area show a higher salary offering, but of course if there are other benefits (which there often are) the job description doesnt specify them.

    The salary is in pounds £ not euros.
