Post [2005] Doubt about own controls

OK, I've made my own control using VB.Net... but now I'm having doubts... how the hell can I use it on a form after adding it to a project?

I've realized how to add it after compiling it, but I'd like to know how to use it when I add the control source to another project, that way I could make some customizations to it for each project.

in the project menu, click "add existing item", add the class file from there. It'll appear as usual in your solution explorer.

I guess I didn't explain myself very well... I know how to add it to the project, but I don't know how to make that control appear in the controls list, so I can drag it to the form designer.

aha. You need to build the project. Theres a menu called 'Build', cant be missed
Or, just add it through code. But building your project will make it appear in the toolbox, might be easier.
