Mailshot with Outlook 2003

Hi

I'm sending out a mailshot to around 200 people with the addresses in BCC. I have to send out 3 seperate emails otherwise I get an error saying too many recipients.

Is there a way in Microsoft Outlook to allow one email to be sent? Preferably so that it wont be chucked out as spam by mail providers. Would a Distribution List do the job?

Not sure about the spam part but to use a Distribution List is the way to go. The limit is set by either your Exchange server or ISP's servers settings limits.

Someone said use a Group, but I have no idea how to do that.

They probably meant "Distribution List" which is a group of recceipients

Hmmm, further investigation is needed.

To create a distribution list just click File > New > Distribution List menu (when viewing your Contacts folder). Then give it a name, add members to it and save.

Then when sending an email out to everyone in that list just select the DL name from your Contacts.
