Excuse my English...

I'm very very new working with Visual Studio 2005 Professional Edition, just open it twice, and something is wrong with it or maybe is my inexperience...
the code editor don't show the Horizontal Scroll Bar, i've tried uncountables things...
in Tools>Options>TextEditor>General>DisplayHorizontal Scroll Bar ...it should work, but it doesn't...
No problem with Vertical Scroll Bar but Horizontal......

since you must not have too much "customization" setup if you have only opened it twice, you could try

tools -> import/export settings -> reset all settings which will reset all the options back to default.

See if that works for you.
