I found the following story, posted by someone else on another totally different forum, I'm not sure if it's real or not, but don't get mad at me if it makes you sad, I'm only sharing it.

In the Birmingham Sunday Mercury (7th Jan 2001):

WORKER DEAD AT DESK FOR 5 DAYS

Bosses of a publishing firm are trying to work out why no one noticed that one of their employees had been sitting dead at his desk for FIVE DAYS before anyone asked if he was feeling okay. George Turklebaum, 51,who had been employed as a proof-reader at a New York firm for 30 years, had a heart attack in the open-plan office he shared with 23 other workers. He quietly passed away on Monday, but nobody noticed until Saturday morning when an office cleaner asked why he was still working during the weekend. His boss Elliot Wachiaski said: "George was always the first guy in each morning and the last to leave at night, so no one found it unusual that he was in the same position all that time and didn't say anything. "He was always absorbed in his work and kept much to himself."

A post mortem examination revealed that he had been dead for FIVE days after suffering a coronary. Ironically, George was proofreading manuscripts of medical extbooks when he died.

You may want to give your co-workers a nudge occasionally.

And the moral of the story:
Don't work too hard. Nobody notices anyway!!!

I think I did see that a while back, though...Still shocking.

Unhappy Yeah caught that story as well

Lets face it the person who died...must have been the most boring person in the office for no one to notice. Probably the Financial Officer or something.

I look like the undead rather than the dead while I'm working
I refuse to tie my hands behind my back and hear somebody say "Bend Over, Boy, Because You Have It Coming To You".

Talking Parksie that's called going to work with a hangover

Cut back on the beers at night and you will probably look better....unless.....you are one of those horrible people who never get away from their computer and look kinda green in the right light.

    Suggestion:

MIgrate to Oz...you can drink your own weight in beer over night, go to work the next day and your Boss will say something like, "Jesus you look like death warmed up, have a few last night did ya. Onya!!!"

It's just that sort of Country.....

Nah, I just have to get up early I don't drink much in the evenings during the week...going to school with a hangover's kinda frowned-upon
