[RESOLVED] running vb6 under xp64
Anyone had any luck doing this? I am slowly migrating all my software to 64-bit and the installer won't run properly. It may be time to upgrade to .net. If so, can anyone tell me what the limitations of the free vb.net 2005 download is? Example will it compile programs? (i know it sounds silly but there are releases of visual studio 6 that won't).

Re: running vb6 under xp64
i think maybe he means vista made it overheat? I thought i was having that problem as well but it turns out it was a driver that made it randomly lock up.
I managed to get it to install guys. Thanks For some reason i can try to install something designed for 32 and the install program may crash on the first 2nd or even third run, but i got it to install on the 2nd try; it is working fine.
