    Just point to the word. D is stand for Dynamic. think of that, with and without D.

    DHTML is a buzzword.

    Simply, if you're using CSS and HTML and Javascript in a webpage, it's called DHTML.

    "DHTML"? I thought that only existed in 90s web development textbooks.

    Yes, but the point is that, like AJAX, DHTML isn't a technology. It's a buzzword coined to denote a combination of technologies.
