mysql version 5.0.9--
hi friends,
is mysql version5.0.9 is free or not?
this one can free download and license is - freeware - one..
but somebody told me u need to pay for this when u r using??
is it true??
because i am new to mysql.
anybody have idea??

The basic MySQL "Community Server" software is free, and that is all you need to run a database. However, their enterprise level software and services (including support) are all commercial.

so the basic community server can i use in my organisation to develop software for other clients??
i mean can use basic community server in the client side for my application?

how much the price?
i check with their website , ut they have mysql senterprise server ,
i thing we no need to use enterprise server..
we just need simple mysql database only(like community server)..
but we didn't get any information about community server(how to buy)??
is it we have to buy striaghat way enterprise server?
no place to buy small database(like community server) ??
