Got caught for pirating.

Comcast my cable company sent me a legal email, saying they caught me downloading the cd image for Diablo 1 (Via BitTorrent). They warned me that if I continue my internet connection might get suspended or cancelled.

Damn it. I raced home, uninstalled Diablo 1, deleted the torrent and iso (that I was seeding).

I even bought Diablo 1 before but lost the disc, and was downloading it because I didn't feel like trying to hunt down this old game.

Azherus, it's java based. I think it was more the torrent tracker and maybe Blizzard's action.

I agree. I've used uTorrent before, and I downloaded SimCity 4... two disc iso.... no problems.

You can say that you've purchased it before. If you would've liked it, you would've kept the bloomin' cd in the first place!! I've still got UT on my shelf. Sure, it's got a thick layer of dust that I can only measure with a metre ruler, but I still like it enough to keep it in a safe place.

Oh, and have you heard of eBay? Or are you worried that they'll include added extras to Diablo such as fluorine?

Considering I've bought every single Blizzard game (including Diablo which I lost the CD), and spent 13 dollars a month for the past 2.5 years. I think Blizzard is doing fine.
