    Smile Algebra

a and b are real numbers

    a + b = -7
    (a)(b) = 11

    a^2 + b^2 = 27

    find a quadratic equation with roots a/b and b/a and write the answer in the form p(x^2) + q(x) + r = 0

p,q,r are and element of Z

    Re: Algebra

First of all find the appropriate values for a,b.

To find the quadratic equation apply the standard format,

    x2 - [(a/b)+(b/a)] + [(a/b)(b/a)] = 0

Corresponding coefficients gives the p,q,r values.
