iTunes suck :-(
So I finally decided to use iTunes to buy an obscure album.
Anyway, the album downloaded as M4P format, only iTunes software can play it (I perfer winamp) and I guess the iPod I don't own.
To get it to convert to MP3, I had to burn it to a blank CD then rerip it.
Plus I think iTunes is a bit nosy, they require you to give them your address and phone, even after you delete your credit card info from your account. So I replaced it with in some bogus info.
My iTunes experience affirms my hatred of Apple.
Talk about an attempt at monopoly, Apple fan-boys talk about Apple being different, but from all their products it just seems like Apple is pushing everyone to conform and only use Apple products.

How long did it take for you to figure that out?

Apple is different from Microsoft because they look better and charge more. They do the same things, though.

Also, Visual Basic Express 2005 (Not sure about visual studio) can give off strange error messages when you're running iTunes.

iTunes tried to convert 8 gigs of mp3's to M4A's the first time I loaded it... I about threw my computer across the room. Then I played around a bit and found the option that lets you convert from M4A to mp3... I was so happy...
