Geesh
Feb. 5, 2007, Geesh, err, the man holding the box of geesh came "bell"-ing.
He uttered something which I barely understood as me needing to sign onto the delivery sheet (He was pointing to an empty space). I signed, and then the man dumped the box onto my free hand.
I opened the box, voila, more boxes and trash and plastic wrappings. So I took it out. finally on the bottom of the box, plastered securely was the green thorny plant. I never thought i'd be happy seeing a plant but I was. Supposed to have been a joke gift from mendhak but I liked it anyways.
May 16, 2007, 2 weeks more before I leave japan, and in so doing, leaving geesh. We had...normal days, cold days, hot days, boring days together. I surely would miss Geesh when I leave. I wish I could leave him to a nice person that would pour about 100 ml worth of water onto him every morning, but that could be too much too ask. What will happen of Geesh now, I don't know.

Re: Geesh
How many other cactus hearts have you left behind in other countries?
Make sure you choose the inheritor of the cactus wisely. They must know how to handle a cactus. By holding the pot, not with a tight grasp around the thorny stem.

I've only been in Japan. How do I know that someone has a green thumb?

Maybe if they have other plants. Or if they have an IQ greater than that of a doormat. There is of course a dearth of such people where you are, gathering from your previous posts.

Can you imagine how much deeper the ocean would be if sponges didn't grown in there?

Re: Geesh
All imbecility aside, I hope you enjoyed having geesh as much as I enjoyed getting rid of him.
But treat it well in the remaining time you have... don't lean on him or you'll end up with a thorn in your side.

No wonder, I am always in a good mood at home even if it was already very stressful at work.
However, due to some laws, I cannot bring ANY kind of plant life, however minuscle.
