try using system restore, its a good tool for things like that.

My dad tries that without telling me
It ends up resetting my DNS servers which is a pain and does little more. I think it could be a problem with the router as I tried my laptop and it experienced similar problems.

@dclamp: I tried that......
I will mark this thread as resolved as my problem is fixed. Just when I was on the phone to Universal telecom, it just started working fine
They have no idea why it did not work and no idea how they helped

Probably your ISP changed their IP addresses cause sometimes they are banned on some sites. So it's up to their administrator to unban IP sets.
Try visitin www.dnsstuff.com and check your IP.

Try changing your router settings, to access it i think most address's are 192.168.1.1

May be your router was updated as sometimes when mine is my router jams up and cant connect to the internet unless i unplug it and leave it for 30 mins

The router at my other house overheats and has to cool down before it works
