Ive seen the term "schema" used alot when reading articles on databases. What does it mean?

schema
It's the struture of the DBMS that you are using.
DB
-----Tables
--------fields
-----views
-----Storeprocs
You can use the schema to create databases or read through them. Kinda like the query analyzer it uses to navigate through the schema and show you all of the tables and etc. I hope this helps
