    about activeX control

    i dont know if this is related here or not...

    but i haver a task which can be able to print data with out code.
    what i mean is doing an active controlX for printing.. where in when it is installed in the PC an automatic detection can be done...

    like for example in java. for example i have a java applet in my code. And when the java is installed the java applet is automatically read. no
    class to be called.. etc,,,,

    no class or function are made....not like .dll...
    does anyone have an idea?about activeX control?I really dont kbnow where to start:-( im clueless as in zero!!!!!!


    pls help... any idea,links,samples etc..... is greatly appreciated!

    If you mean a VB application that's just one file, no. VB doesn't work like that. You have to include all the dll and ocx files with the exe file in an installation package.
    The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
    The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
    Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
