A slope is the steepness of a line. You may know that it is calculated as rise over run. So thererfore the rise/run gives you a ratio or slope... Does this help at all?

The funniest (Or not so funniest) Part is that
Slope of a Vertical Line to an Horizontal one is Infinity !!!

but there is no slope of a vertical line

because it would be a fraction with a 0 denominator

    so thats not possible

1/0 is not computable - that is not the same as not possible - it is infinitely possible - in road signs slope is shown as a percentage and a vertical drop would be 100% - its merely a way of expressing the idea.

Maths is a language like any other.
