    Zip Archiving Using Vb 6.0/2005 Code

    Hello Readers,

    I would like to find out whether it is possible to create .ZIP archives using Vb code. If it is possible please do humbly shed some knowledge on the details of creating the archives.

    Which is your question targetted to? VB 6 or VB.NET?

    In VB.NET there is a class for zipping. A quick forums search in the vb.net forum will turn up several threads.

    For VB 6 you will have to use third party controls, dlls or such. No standard built in support like in VB.NET

    Jenova's right, I found a free dll on vbaccellerator that I used. Ill try to upload it with the unzip dll. Just ask again if you need an example, but everything you need can be found:
