SendKeys "^c",True not working

Hi,
Existing programs that were working fine are now failing.

QB6, XP Pro, QuickBooks.

We use SendKeys "^c",True and SendKeys "{TAB}",True to read screen fields. This has been working for years but it is now failing.

What happens it either we do not get anything in the clipboard or the screen field is either replace with c or the c is appended into the screen data. It is also intermittant but fails over 50% of the time.

Not sure if it is something in the target application, QuickBooks, it seems that it fails more with QB 2007 then 2006 and i slightly different ways. Or if it is something new in XP, or something with the multi-monitor support or something with Remote Desktop. (with Remote Desktop up I frequently get 521 clipboard errors and "Can't open clipboard" until I close the Remote Desktop session).

Is there anything that I need to different? Ie timing?
Is there a good alternative to SendKeys?

After more testing it seems that the program works fine on an 'older' system. AMD 4800. It fails on the AMD X2 5000. Both running XP Pro and QB 2007 for the test????

Any ideas anyone??
