Database Problems maybe?
Is anyone else having a problem with the site at the moment.
It is taking forever to load anything and then submitting a reply is a catch-as-catch can propotion.
As a test, I went over to CodeGuru and had no problems at all with that site, so I'm guessing it isn't me.

Re: Database Problems maybe?
Further research has narrowed it down to one thing.
The "RobDog888 Anniversary" thread in Chit Chat.
Whenever I try to open that thread, it loads about half way, then freezes.
The only way I can get my browser back is to close it completely, and reopen it.

Re: Database Problems maybe?
For me, it was with several threads, control panel, and other forums. But today all is much better. I really think it was due to the infamous "vbwire news feed" cusing pages to hang.

Since you and Brad are in the Midwest I think you are the "preferred" customers if you both have no performance issues because it's bad on the West Coast as well.

What's up with performance lately? It's still quite slow... Basically every day but not consistently.

Re: Database Problems maybe?
My post from the 17th was actually from Portugal . It wasn't slow for me then.
I hit a semi-slow point earlier this morning, but just for a short while. It wasn't slow enough for our techs to address, but slower than usual. Regardless, I'll ping our server guys and see if they can review the system to see if anything is amiss and to make sure there is plenty of cache and resources to keep things operating smoother.

Me too early on, but, it seems to have cleared up.
I haven't had any timeouts in a while. *looks around for wood to knock on*

For the first time in a long time, it is also slow here. I got a couple of timeouts about half an hour ago.

As I mentioned it's not consistent - it could be fast and next minute very slow (for me at least).
Performance may even vary from page to page. And it's going on for a week or so.
