me too
I too have MAJOR problems with Media Player, but I only have problems with v7. Whenever I try to open up ANY type of movie, sound, Anything, before it even loads up, it says that it cannot find file "OLE32DBR.DLL" in C:\Program Files\Common Files\System\OLE DB\....something"
I re-installed it about 3 times so at the end I uninstalled it and now I'm using v6.4!!! It sucks but at least it works...

Strange, I'm running Win 98 (oh lucky me). I am having no problem with the latest download version of Windows Media Player.... I wonder what I'm doing..... Though I am having problem running Counter Strike on my computer. But that is because i have the new Radeon Graphics card...... Any thoughts as to how I could fix this problem? I have all the latest drivers for both CounterStrike and for the card... So my theory is that it doesn't like the card.... I get as far as starting the game.

try this!
Hey Geoff,
While I was trying to figure out how to fix my MP, I used the ActiveMovie Control and it worked fine for me!
Just a suggestion!
