Re: [Serious] Resumé
Don't write things like:
"During the summer of 1998 I wrote a operating system in HTML, then i went backpacking around slough. My ppl skills are highly developed."
That's likely to get you a job as a Web-Developer.
I don't live here any more.

I could show you some good examples of a cover letter.

Re: [Serious] Resumé
On another note, is it a good idea to put all the projects that you have worked on in the resume? Or would it be better to just put roles and responsibilities for every company / client?

Re: [Serious] Resumé
Do't use office templates to write your own cirriculum,
As it won't stand out between others unless you like to have a gray job at a gray compagny.
Use some graphical fun like a website layout if your solliciting for a webdesigner job. A techi look for software engineer in a technical sector etc...
Looks do not do everything but they surely can help.
why can't programmers keep and 31 Oct and 25 dec apart. Why Rating is Useful
for every question you ask provide an answer on another thread.

Re: [Serious] Resumé
Templates are just that, a template. Not a final or almost final version for your resume, just an outline. If you are going for a web dev position then doing a web layout may be good but allot of recruiters dont like anything outside the norm of standards. ie: background colors/patterns and pictures etc. as they usually only print the resumes in black and white.
