You're 21 years old, and you've never left Canada?
Most Canadians I know acquired their passports and left the country within moments of being conceived.

I filed a restraining order against Canada. So if I ever go there I can sue Canada for being too close to me.
I don't live here any more.

I've left Canada, just never North America. Up until a few months ago, we could go to the states using just a birth certificate and photo ID.

Actually, they are just trying to spare you the painful consequences of visiting Boston. That city is pretty gnarly if you happen to have a car.
