[2005] Two questions for an MDI setup

The First question is, is it possible to run a remote application as an MDI child? What I mean is like, have the app run an external .exe application as a child form for an MDI, as opposed to running it completely seperate.

My other question is the more complex to explain. Basically, I have an MDI parent form, and it has its own menu strip at the top. The child forms also have their own menu strips. But, when I run the app, the menu strip for the child is blank, and the mdi parent has its own items, then the items for the child form next to it. Is there any way to fix this, so the child has its own menu strip, seperate from the menu of the parent?

Oh, and tell me if my explanations suck. I know I'm not the best at it, and I'm a little tired.
