[2.0] getting imdb movie info...

hello everyone,

i am just wondering, does anyone know of a way, other than to parse the html of a returned html page....to get imdb info..

im looking for preferably an xml file or webservice type thing...so that i can easily get the data...and to search on titles would be great..

IMDB data is available for download http://www.imdb.com/interfaces if you want to put it in your own database.

Otherwise there are a few 3rd party web services that you can use like an API such as this one

those interfaces are way to big to try and incorporate and keep uptodate...not an option...

i actually found that webservice after this post, however am not sure whether i want to use it...

i am not looking at buying or partnering...

and what is with this...

if i was buying the db, i would want it all...

ok, so its either the webservice, or just read the html code from an outputted page...
