looking for a source control app.
Hi all. I'm looking for a source control app to use for visual studio .NET 2005.
I'm using perforce right now but just wondering if there are any other tools yuo would suggest.
My project isnt too big.... I wouldnt expect it to grow more than 100k lines ever.
I've used ClearCase before also, but thinking maybe that's too much for a small project.
suggestions plz?
rate my posts if they help ya!

Re: looking for a source control app.
if you have a msdn subscription I would suggest you use visual source safe 2005.
if you have a *nix server you have sitting around http://subversion.tigris.org/. It is pretty close to cvs, but better IMHO.
I have to say, I have never done a widows project using sub-ver only Mac and linux.

I believe that Vault by SourceGear is quite good and free for individuals. Never used it myself but read good things.
