expert guidance required
Hi friends,
I have got placement in an very big company(cmm level 5).until now I have been doing some very small projects.But hereafter I will be in a team that builds or maintains enterprise projects.
I want to prepare myself for that.Please suggest me books or sites to visit which can help me on this.
Advanced techniques in visual basic 6(not vb.net) that is what i need now

One of your best resources for any and all programming needs is this site.
"Advanced techniques" is a pretty nebulous term. If you have a specific programming need/issue, then just post it and I'm sure that more then one of our members would be both willing and able to assist.

...and debate endlessly over whether said topic is worth of being dubbed "advanced" or not.
"Enterprise projects" is also pretty broad.
Do you know what sort of subjects you are going to be working on?

mostly database oriented projects. help regarding class files,modules,record locking,working as a big team will be helpfull

Learn to brew fantastic ale. Bring in samples for the ret of the team. Then they'll be only too glad to help you.
The most difficult part of developing a program is understanding the problem.
The second most difficult part is deciding how you're going to solve the problem.
Actually writing the program (translating your solution into some computer language) is the easiest part.
Please indent your code and use [HIGHLIGHT="VB"] [/HIGHLIGHT] tags around it to make it easier to read.

That's actually some pretty good advice. I would expect that the biggest problem about programming in a large team is the large team itself, not the programming. Teamwork ain't easy.
