I ve created a vb app using dao. Unfortunately the set up is not functioning properly. The error message is

During the installation ive skipped certain files as those files are already running on the machine(Warned by setup). Could that be a problem?

Re: Help me
The file was not found, it was:
1) not installed
2) in the wrong place
3) deleted
4) the wrong file
Try reinstalling it without skipping the files...

I am sure there are a lot of memebers that would be very glad to help you, but you are going to have to give some more information.
Form what you posted it looks like you were trying to install a beta version of Shop Keeper (whatever that is) and the installation program could not find a particular file.
What does that have to do with your VB ADO App. ???

I've never heard of Shop Keeper, but I'm assuming that it is some kind of installation and setup package. Your screen caption indicates that it is a Beta Version. Beta Versions, but their very nature, often are not finished products. I would suggest using a different installation and setup package, just as a test, and see if that presents any problems.

Re: Help me
I think he created the program himself and made the installer...

Unless "dao" means something different to what i think it is... because i have no idea on what it is.
However, if he created this himself he should go through and check that when the installer compiled all the files, he got them all. Or reinstall without skipping certain files.

Re: Help me
Well, A better topic would help "HELP ME" doesn't state what the problem is and most everyone who post in these forums needs help so you have not said anything new to have someone who may be an expert in your problem look at your thread. Topics like that usually causes them to overlook your thread.
Now to your problem... Why are you looking for a PDW file in this setup package. That cannot possibly be good. What is this package you are using anyway. I have never heard of it.
Next why did you skip those files in your installation? What was the error message? Why did the setup program complain? ETC...
