I don't know (I'll ask one of the technical folks) but I suspect it has something to do with the new new member post-screening process we have.

Interesting. Classic VB is set to count posts, so that is not the issue.

I wonder if it happens when a new member, not knowing that his posts won't be visible right away, creates two posts, and then we validate one and delete the other?

I believe that is exactly correct Martin and I have noticed this before under those circumstances.

So theoretically, a really impatient new member could end up in the hole?

Triple post, 1 is validated, the other two deleted?

Oh, that would be classic! That would suggest the persons views were less than worthless....hmmmm, I can think of a few people like that. Ok, maybe that's a good thing.
