    Custom Paper Size Crystal Report

Is there anyway in CR to define your paper size.

I am designing for a label printer.

I see if i add the printer and set it as my default I have more control by modifying the actual printer setup.

However didnt know if there was a way to say i want this by 2" by 8" within crystal.

    Thanks

Crystal seems to get it's dimensions from the printer properties. Did you set the page sizes in the properties?

Correct it does seem to get its dimensions through the printer properties.
I did get it working that way, just was curious if I had any control of that within Crystal itself. Which looks to be no.

    thanks.

What kind of labels are you printing? For my barcode and mailing labels I usually just got with the printer object in VB to get the job done... You can programmatically set up the page size in VB that way.

You cannot create a custom paper size, besides there is no need. You can modify the Page Margins using the File -> Page Setup dialog.

When it comes to Labels, there are several Preset configurations based on industry standard label stock (ie Avery 5160 labels).

If a preset does not exist, a properly configured multi-column report will work just as well.
