what then? lower case alphabet?
if so what after all the lowercase is used up?

lol... talking to oneself is a sign of impending insanity... responding is a sign that it is no longer impending 
I agree, though. Even the use of the English alphabet for 10 thru 35 is arbitrary, except that it logically follows from the use of A-F in hexidecimal. Base 60 is interesting in that we regularly use it for time or angle measurements without thinking of it as base 60.

same as ascii is base 256, but noone thinks like that do they?
