I think it may only apply to the US but I had also seen that Austrailia had changes in DST also (it was another hotfix).

Re: Daylight Savings Time
Guess I will have to buy a new alarm clock. Mine automatically adjusts for DST and it didnt change this morning. Now I will have to manually change it and change it again in 3 weeks. Not to mention two more changes when DST is to change again in October. Too much wqork, I'll just get a basic one that doesnt change.

and this is just a tidbit I ran into (and wasted an hour this morning diagnosing); make sure you're in the correct time zone before researching information about the patch and updating and all those mundane things we do to fix problems without effort.
I came into work this morning and my clock didn't adjust. Spent hours making sure I had "automatically adjust for DST" on, checking patch information, ect and so forth.
Turns out my computer has been "Central America" instead of "Central Time". m(_ _)m

Re: Daylight Savings Time
Actually, I never change the time on my watch or my car radio. I never have.
For a few months of the year I'm an hour behind to so just substract 1 when I do a time check. For other few months of the year I'm right on the money.
I always thought "leaping ahead" and "falling back" was laughably comical to the nth degree.
My wife, on the other hand, makes the transition a religous experience. She methodically changes every wall clock and/or digital clock in our house at 2:00 A.M. - I'm not kidding.....she sets an alarm clock to go off at 1:59 AM, then gets up and does the deed. *shakes head*
She actually reset my car clock one year. I set it back.

I don't think Daylight Savings is meant to be quite that drastic.

I still have not figured out how to reset my car clock. The buttons don't work. I used toothpicks to press the buttons.
Everything that has a computer in will fail. Everything in your life, from a watch to a car to, you know, a radio, to an iPhone, it will fail if it has a computer in it. They should kill the people who made those things.- 'Woz'

Don't worry....it isn't worth the effort to figure out (unless someone like you wife resets it on you, then it is incumbant upon you to learn how to deal with it so you can undo what she did! )

Sounds like you have a game and not a radio in your dash.
Arg, I hate all those "universal" symbols they use now. What happened to buttons with words on them? Allot easier if you ask me.
