    ...uffering! WHY CAN'T I ACCESS VBF??? *grrr* I have to use dial-up every single time!

    We've got DSL connection at work, but when trying to access VBF through it, I get the "Site cannot be Found" page, but through dial-up it works...

    I'm no network expert (actually, all I know about a network is "\\<computer_name>\<path>") but I'm guessing someone is messing around with a router or something...

    Use a different DNS server in your dsl connection.

    Is that possible?

    Our servers are in JHB, we're about 400km away. All branches go to HQ through fire-obtic cables. Thus, we have a WAN (I think) with some kind of internet connection sharing? I'm just grabbing here, but I think this is how the setup is.

    If I don't use the DNS servers that are installed on my system at the moment, can I still see my local servers??

    I hate network issues like this...

    I have no idea about WAN setup.

    Try using a free open proxy.
