What the heck*?
* censored for language.
Somebody has opened an Apple computer shop in Derby. I had to cross the road (the ACTUAL road!!) to get a closer look to make sure my eyes were not deceiving me. Just as I thought, they are selling disappointing hardware for dystopian prices.
However, I did spy with my little beady eye, a copy of "Fedora Core 6 - Unleashed" on the book stand near the cash till. Maybe there is hope for this place after all.
I don't live here any more.

Opposite the Cathedral. Which is ironic given that Steve Jobs is the earthly incarnation of Beelzebub.

So that is why the chicken crossed the road. Finally a valid reason!

I almost had a heart attack when I saw how much Apple stores sell a stick of DDR ram for their new intel systems. Its laughable that people even like them and think they are an uncorrupt Microsoft.
I am a Windows man through and through as I have a life and dont want to waste my hours showing a hello message on a black screen

To apple, or not to apple? That is the question...
Here's another question: What's the big deal with apple anyway? It seems like they're losing grip. Why did they create the functionality for an Intel processor anyway? Just so you can load XP on it? And even if that was the reason, once again... why load XP on an apple?
Note that I don't really care... I'm just inquisitive.

Evidently you prefer wasting your hours showing a hello message on a blue screen.

I once read an article on how to generate BSOD's on a MAC and also how to hide them with fancy images.

Because IBM wouldn't provide a clear road map for their PowerPC chips and that put Apple against a brick wall in terms of continued upgrades.
Apple hasn't lost their grip.
BTW as far as price, desktop Macs are comparable in price to other OEMs like Dell. Their top end notebooks are over priced though.
